Muradiye historical site (Muradiye Külliyesi) – this is an open-air architectural and Historical Park, which houses 12 tombs of the rulers of the Ottoman Empire, the Sultan Murat II Camii mosque of 1426, the Sultan's Hamam and madrasa, which houses a free museum of calligraphy and ancient manuscripts.
Once this place was one of the Centers of Bursa and the Empire, the center of social and cultural life, and today it is one of the main historical attractions that should be visited. Start your visit with a free museum of calligraphy and ancient manuscripts. The museum is small, but very well maintained and unusual. The exhibits here are ancient manuscripts, embroidery, tools used in ancient times for writing. The purpose of some exhibits is explained by videos on the screens. At the entrance to the museum, you can get a free information booklet with a brief description in English.
Then you can proceed directly to the territory. There are 12 tombs-mausoleums, each of which is unique in interior and exterior. At the entrance to some tombs it is necessary to take off your shoes.

The complex is located a couple of kilometers from the center of the tourist area (fortress on the map. The easiest way to get there is by tram T1 to the Altiparmak stop, but since the route is circular, you will have to drive almost the entire circle from the tourist area, which will take 25 minutes. You can also get there by bus no. 3/C, E/2, 19/E, 96, B/38, E/12. But be careful: you need to get on these routes not from the stop on Attaturk Street (go the other way), but on Cemal Nadir Street.
