What else is interesting on Pratamnak Hill in Pattaya besides the viewpoint with a panorama?

On Pratamnak Hill there are several interesting sites worth visiting. First, there is the monument to Prince Chumphon (Krom Luang Chumphon Khet Udomsak) – the founder of the Royal Thai Navy. Locals and sailors bring flowers and incense to the statue, so you should behave respectfully here, preferably with your shoulders and knees covered, although there is no strict control as at the Big Buddha temple. Second, on the hillside below the main platform there are huge letters "PATTAYA CITY", which are clearly visible from the city center. There is a viewing area where tourists like to take photos, and in the evening the letters are beautifully illuminated.

Also, almost the entire mountain is covered by Pratamnak Park – there are running paths, outdoor exercise equipment, benches, and shady alleys. This is a great place for a morning or evening jog with scenic views. At the top there is a small cafe (usually coffee from a van) selling drinks and ice cream. Along the way to the viewpoint there are benches, gazebos, and viewing telescopes – for 10 baht you can see distant objects in detail. If you have time, also check out the neighboring hill, where the Big Buddha temple is located – you can walk between them in 20–30 minutes.
