If you are looking for a resort in Vietnam with the most stable and favorable weather, I definitely recommend Nha Trang. According to weather statistics and the season table, Nha Trang has the greatest number of months with ideal weather for a beach holiday – as many as 8 months a year (from January to August). For comparison, the popular island of Phu Quoc has only 5 such months, and Mui Ne has 6. Therefore, if your main goal is guaranteed sunny weather and a warm sea, the best option is to go to Nha Trang.

Please note that Nha Trang has practically no pronounced rainy season – only from September to October short-term precipitation is possible, and in November-December the weather worsens. But from January to August the sea is calm, the water is warm (+26…+28°C), and rain is extremely rare. This makes Nha Trang the most reliable choice for tourists who do not want to guess about the weather.
If you still prefer other resorts, here are the optimal months to travel:
- Phu Quoc, Mui Ne, Vung Tau – from November to March (dry season in the south).
- Danang, Hoi An, Lang Co – from January to August (like Nha Trang, but there is a risk of typhoons in October).
- North (Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Cat Ba) – best from April to May or September-October, when there is no heavy rain and it is not too cold.
