Which area of Pattaya is best for a holiday with children and family?

For a family beach holiday, we definitely recommend Jomtien Beach. This is the most popular and convenient area for a relaxing holiday with children. The beach here is long, clean, with a gentle entrance, and the water is noticeably clearer than in the center. Along the shore stretches a promenade — there are few cars, and it is safe to walk. There are many hotels in the area aimed specifically at families, there are night markets, restaurants, and even two "adult" streets (Rompho and Jomtien Complex), but overall the atmosphere is very calm and decent. If you want even more peace and seclusion, choose Na Jomtien — this is a southern suburb with wide sandy beaches, palm trees, and minimal infrastructure. But keep in mind: from there to the center of Pattaya it takes 15–20 minutes by songthaew for 15 baht.
