Which waterfalls to see in Dalat and its surroundings?

There are many beautiful waterfalls around Dalat, and it can be difficult to choose the best ones. Here is our list of the most worthwhile ones that we have personally visited:

• Datanla Waterfall — the most popular and accessible, located just 5 km from the center. Entrance fee is 80,000 dong. There is a zipline and a high-speed toboggan run (alpine coaster).
• Elephant Waterfall (Thac Voi) — the most powerful and famous waterfall in the area. Located 45 km from the city, entrance through a cafe costs 50,000 dong. Nearby is Linh An Pagoda with a 71-meter statue of Guan Yin.
• Pongour Waterfall — one of the largest and most beautiful in Vietnam, especially during the rainy season. Located 50 km from Dalat, entrance fee is 40,000 dong.
• Prenn Waterfall — located 10 km from the city, entrance fee is 50,000 dong. Around the waterfall there is a large amusement park with attractions.
• Cam Ly Waterfalls — located right in the city, entrance fee is 40,000 dong. They consist of several cascades, but unfortunately the water is not very clean.
