Linh Phuoc Pagoda in Da Lat is not just a beautiful mosaic. There are several unique "attractions" that you must see.
Here are the main ones:
- Hell Hall: This is perhaps the most unusual part of the complex. Underground there is a 300-meter tunnel where, with the help of plaster statues, sound and light effects, scenes of the torment of sinners are shown. It looks very realistic and creepy, but it is one of the most powerful impressions of the visit.
- Wishing Bell: On the upper floor of the bell tower hangs a huge 8-ton bell. Tourists write their wishes on pieces of paper, stick them to the bell and hit it with a wooden mallet. It is believed that this makes wishes come true. This place is always very popular.
- Bodhisattva Statue Made of Flowers: In one of the halls there is a statue completely made of 650,000 artificial flowers. This is a very beautiful and painstaking creation.
- Record-Breaking Objects: Here you can see the tallest bell tower and the tallest indoor Buddha statue in Vietnam.
- Exhibition Halls: Some rooms display unique pieces of furniture made of wood and stone, as well as figurines.
Do not forget that photography is prohibited in the main hall of the temple. And for a more complete immersion, we recommend reading our article: Linh Phuoc Pagoda in Da Lat: an honest review and practical information for visiting.
