How to call home from Thailand cheaply?

The cheapest way to call home from Thailand is to use VoWiFi (Voice over WiFi) technology. It allows you to make regular voice calls via a Wi-Fi network (in a hotel, cafe, airport) at the rates of your home operator, as if you were in Russia. No international roaming and astronomical bills!

To do this, you need:

1. Make sure your phone and plan support VoWiFi (usually it is connected for free by the operator).
2. Connect to Wi-Fi in Thailand.
3. Call any Russian numbers as usual.
