Ordering a taxi via the Grab app at Kuala Lumpur Airport is very easy. It is the most popular and often the most cost-effective way to get to your hotel.

Step-by-step instructions:

  1. Install the Grab app on your smartphone before your trip or immediately upon arrival using the airport's free Wi-Fi.
  2. Set the pickup point. In the app, select the airport (KUL). In terminal KLIA1, there is a dedicated Grab waiting area in the center of the arrival hallβ€”it's hard to miss. Set it as the pickup point. In KLIA2, there is also a designated area.
  3. Enter your hotel address as the destination.
  4. Choose the car type (usually GrabCar) and confirm the order. The app will show a fixed fare (from 65 ringgit) and the waiting time.
  5. Meet the driver in the designated area. The car number and driver's contact details will be in the app.

Important points: - The app requires internet access. You can buy a local SIM card at the airport or use roaming. - Russian UnionPay cards do not work with Grab. Pay for the ride in cash (ringgit, preferably withdrawn from a Maybank/CIMB ATM) or use a non-Russian card linked to the app. - Alternatives include the Maxim or MyCar apps, but Grab is more reliable and popular.
