What to see at the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park?

At KL Bird Park you can see over 3,000 birds of 200 different species, freely flying in a huge aviary. This is the park's main feature — birds are not in cages, but in a natural, albeit controlled, environment.

Main zones and activities:

• Free Flight: Walk among parrots, flamingos, peacocks, hornbills, and many others.
• Bird Shows: Several times a day, performances take place where feathered artists ride bicycles, play basketball, and perform acrobatic tricks. Check the schedule at the entrance.
• Aviary Zone: A small number of birds (e.g., some predators or particularly valuable species) are kept in spacious aviaries for their safety.
• Photo Sessions: There is an opportunity to take photos with some large and calm birds.
• Infrastructure: The park has the Hornbill restaurant, a cafe, souvenir shops, and a children's playground.

The park is divided into 4 zones, but the net above them is unified, so birds move freely. Landscapes imitating tropical forest, a watering hole, and a waterfall have been created.

Allow about 2-3 hours for visiting the bird park. It can be conveniently combined with the nearby attractions of the Botanical Garden.
