Before visiting the Eagle's Nest SkyWalk, it's important to know a few key points that will save you time, money, and nerves. Here is a step-by-step instruction and main tips based on personal experience.

Step-by-step instruction on how to visit the bridge:

  1. Buy a ticket for the SkyCab cable car. Without this, you won't get to the bridge. The bridge itself is not included in the standard cable car ticket.
  2. Ascend to the middle (intermediate) station. This is where the Eagle's Nest SkyWalk is located.
  3. Deposit all items in the storage locker. This is a mandatory and free rule. You'll have to leave even valuable items—backpacks, bags. You can only take a phone or camera with you. The lockers are under surveillance, and you keep the key.
  4. For your phone, you'll be given a special wrist strap. Important: the phone must have a case, otherwise it won't be secured.
  5. Put on shoe covers. They are provided free of charge, directly over your shoes, to avoid scratching the glass floor.
  6. Walk across the bridge. It's small, about 10-15 meters. Take photos, look down through the glass. No one rushes you.
  7. Don't miss the viewing platform above the bridge! Near the storage lockers, there's an inconspicuous staircase leading to the "eagle's head." The view from there of the bridge and surroundings is excellent.
  8. Retrieve your items and continue your route—either up to the SkyBridge or down.
Be sure to go up to the viewing platform "in the eagle's head"

Main tips:

  • Don't expect extreme thrills. The bridge is stable, doesn't sway. It's more of a photo location than an adrenaline attraction.
  • Come in the first half of the day. Fewer queues and a higher chance of clear weather for beautiful photos.
  • Consider a combo ticket. If you plan to visit other attractions in the complex (SkyBridge, SkyRex, etc.), an extended ticket might be more cost-effective.
  • Study the ticket system in advance. It can be confusing. To avoid confusion on-site, we highly recommend reading our detailed guide to the cable car.

The entire visiting process, including depositing items and walking, takes no more than 10 minutes. You'll find more useful details and nuances in our full article: Extreme bridge Eagle's Nest SkyWalk on Langkawi.
