What are the best beaches on Pangkor?

The best beaches on Pangkor are considered to be Coral Bay and, slightly less so, Nipah Beach. Also worth noting are Pasir Bogak Beach for convenience and Sekadeh Beach for seclusion. It's important to remember that there are no fixed sun loungers and umbrellas on all the island's beaches—bring your own mat.

1. Coral Bay: Our favorite. The sand here is light and fine, the water is very clean. The beach is 400-500 meters long, usually not crowded. There is kayak rental (30 MYR/hour) and offers for water excursions. The area is quiet, the main infrastructure (cafes, shops) is on the neighboring Nipah Beach, which can be reached on foot in 5-10 minutes.

2. Nipah Beach: The main tourist area with developed infrastructure. Along the road, there are many cafes, bike rentals, and travel agencies. The beach itself is long (almost 1 km), but there are more water activities, boats, and in the afternoon, there is shade from trees. Ideal if you want everything at hand.

3. Pasir Bogak Beach: The closest beach to the port (taxi — 12 MYR). Convenient with developed infrastructure: along the road, there are shops, markets, cafes. The beach stretches for 1.5-2 km and is divided into a noisy central part and a quiet resort area. A good choice for families and those who don't want to travel far from arrival.

4. Sekadeh Beach (Secret Beach): The only good wild beach that can be reached on foot via a jungle trail (800 m from the road). Complete seclusion, no infrastructure. Ideal for a picnic, but be careful—there are many mosquitoes, repellent is definitely needed.
