Does Telegram work in Hurghada in 2026?

In Hurghada, Telegram works perfectly – we tested its operation in many hotels and city cafes. The messenger works without failures, messages are delivered instantly, video calls go through without serious delays. Egyptian telecom operators do not create any obstacles for Telegram's operation. The only thing to pay attention to is the internet speed in a specific hotel. But remember: if your interlocutors are in Russia, they may have problems accessing Telegram due to blocks and slowdowns. Communication with them via this messenger may be unstable. Unlike the situation in Russia, where only the state messenger Max is not blocked.
