There is no direct public transport from Hurghada Airport (HRG) to Marina Promenade. The distance is about 10-15 km, and the most convenient and fastest way to get there is by taxi or transfer.

Options for getting there:

  1. Taxi from the airport: This is the simplest way. Official taxis can be ordered in the arrivals area. The trip to Marina will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. The cost of the trip should be agreed upon with the driver in advance, usually a fixed amount in the range of 150-250 Egyptian pounds (about 5-8 dollars).
  2. Pre-booked transfer: The most comfortable option, especially if you are with family or have a lot of luggage. Transfers can be booked online through various services. You will be met with a sign and taken directly to the desired location.
  3. By bus + walking: A budget but inconvenient option. First, you need to get from the airport to the center of Hurghada (for example, by taxi to the Dahar area), and then transfer to a local minibus that goes along Sheraton Street. From the minibus stop, it's about a 5-7 minute walk to the entrance to Marina.

Lifehack: If you have just arrived in Hurghada, it makes more sense to first go to the hotel, leave your luggage, and then, lightly, go to Marina Promenade by taxi or minibus from your area.

The promenade is open from 10:00 to 00:00, so you will have enough time to visit after checking into the hotel. For more details on the location and other ways to get there, read our article Marina Promenade in Hurghada.
