Silver Waterfall (Thac Bac, Silver Waterfall) is located approximately 12 km northwest of Sapa center, on the road to Tram Ton Pass. It is one of the most accessible and famous natural attractions in the city's surroundings.
How to get to Silver Waterfall:
- By rented motorbike/scooter: The most popular and flexible option. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes. Renting a bike in Sapa costs from 120,000 dong per day. You need to drive along highway TL152 (Dien Bien Phu Street) towards Tram Ton Pass. The waterfall will be right by the road, hard to miss.
- By taxi or Grab: Convenient if you don't want to drive the bike yourself on the winding road. A one-way trip will cost about 200,000 - 300,000 dong. Arrange with the driver to wait for you or book a return trip through the app.
- With a tour: Many tour agencies in Sapa offer combined tours including Silver Waterfall, Tram Ton Pass, and Love Waterfall. Cost β from $7-10 per person.

Entrance fee: 20,000 dong per person.
Exact location: The waterfall is located right by the road, with parking for bikes and cars (Silver Waterfall on the map).
Tip: The best time to visit is the rainy season (from May to September), when the waterfall is most full and impressive. In the dry season (October-April), it may look modest.
