Entrance to Cat Cat Village is paid. An adult ticket costs 150,000 Vietnamese dong, and for children under 120 cm tall — 70,000 dong. Payment is accepted only in cash; bank cards do not work at the ticket offices or in local shops.
For this money, you get access to an entire tourist complex with a waterfall, lake, suspension bridge, traditional Hmong house, and other facilities. The ticket price also includes admission to a traditional dance and music show, which takes place several times a day at the cultural center near the waterfall.
Before visiting, be sure to bring local currency. Prices for souvenirs inside the village are reasonable, but be careful: sometimes, under the guise of handmade items, they may sell factory-made fakes from China.
