Yes, it is possible to export fruits from Vietnam to Russia. From the Vietnamese customs side, there are no official prohibitions on exporting fruits in reasonable, non-commercial quantities.

However, two important points need to be considered:

1. Airline rules: You can carry fruits in checked or carry-on luggage in any form (in a basket, bag, suitcase), as long as you do not exceed the weight and size limits set by your airline ticket. The myth that fruits can only be transported in special plastic containers is not true.
2. Import rules into Russia: According to Russian laws, for personal use, you can import no more than 5 kg of fruits and other plant products per person. This restriction is set by the Russian phytosanitary service, not Vietnam.
