Getting to the Po Nagar Cham Towers from the tourist center of Nha Trang on your own is very simple. The complex is located on Mount Cu Lao, on the northern bank of the Cai River (view location on map).

Here are all the available options:

  • On foot: From the beach area (for example, from the ocean promenade Tran Phu) you can walk in 30-40 minutes. You need to cross the Cai River via a bridge (Tran Phu Bridge or Xom Bong Bridge) and follow the signs. The walk is scenic, but can be tiring in the heat.
  • By bus: The most budget-friendly transport option. From the tourist area, city bus No. 4 runs. You need to ask the driver or conductor to stop at the towers (the stop is usually called "Thap Ba" or "Po Nagar").
  • By taxi or via app: Convenient and inexpensive. A taxi ride from the center will cost about 50,000 - 70,000 dong. It's cheaper and more reliable to order a car via mobile apps Grab or Maxim (a Vietnamese analogue), where the price is fixed in advance.
  • On a rented motorbike: The most popular and flexible way among tourists. The journey takes 10-15 minutes. At the entrance to the complex, there is a paid parking lot for motorbikes (4,000 dong). For cars, there is no parking at the entrance; they are left in nearby alleys.

We recommend arriving at opening time (at 6:00) or after 15:00 to avoid the influx of tour groups. For more details on all transportation nuances in the city, read our guide: Transport in Nha Trang.
