A quiet and uncrowded beach in Hoi An is Cua Dai Beach. It is located about 6 km from the Old Town and is much calmer than the popular An Bang. Here, it's easy to find an almost empty stretch of shore.

Or such deserted spots

Advantages of Cua Dai Beach for secluded relaxation:

  • Few people: There are no crowds of tourists here, a calm, almost village-like atmosphere prevails.
  • Free parking: On free sections, you can park your bike almost right by the water for free.
  • Spaciousness: A long sandy strip where you can settle away from everyone.

Important nuances to know:

  • Almost no infrastructure: On free sections, there are no sunbeds, umbrellas, cafes, toilets, or showers. All amenities are only on the premises of operating hotels and for their guests. Bring everything you need (water, towel, umbrella).
  • Difficulty with access: The coastline is sometimes interrupted by hotel territories (including abandoned ones) that block the passage. Arriving by taxi "at random," you might end up at a fence.

Verified entry point: To accurately reach a free section of Cua Dai Beach, use this point on the map. There is an unobstructed passage to the sea here.

Alternative on An Bang: If you still want to have a cafe nearby but with fewer people, move a few hundred meters away from the central entrance (Hai Ba Trung) on An Bang Beach. It will also be much quieter there.
