Prices for renting sunbeds and umbrellas on Da Nang beaches are uniform and quite affordable. At the main beach My Khe, where the infrastructure is most developed, the current prices are as follows (in Vietnamese dong):
- Plastic sunbed - 40,000 dong
- Fabric sunbed – 30,000 dong
- Fresh chilled coconut – 30,000 dong
- Water 1.5L – 12,000 dong
- Beer 0.33L - from 25,000 dong
Also, foot washes are freely available on the beach, and showers usually operate at nearby cafes and are free if you order something from them.
Important point: since My Khe Beach is very long, sunbed points are not everywhere; they are concentrated in the central part. During peak season (March-August), demand is high, and free sunbeds may be insufficient. In this case, it makes sense to have a large beach towel or inflatable mattress with you. They can be purchased inexpensively at local stores.
On other beaches, such as Chinese (Bac My An) or wild Hai Van beaches, rental infrastructure may not exist at all. On beaches at hotels on Chinese Beach or Son Tra Peninsula, sunbeds are usually free for guests.
