What are the hotel prices in Da Nang?

Accommodation prices in Da Nang remain affordable compared to many other Southeast Asian resorts, although they have increased in recent years. Here is a current reference for costs (in Vietnamese dong):

• Hostel bunk bed — from 150,000 dong.
• Room in a budget guesthouse for two with air conditioning — from 300,000 dong.
• Hotel room for two with air conditioning and breakfast — from 400,000 dong.
• Hotel room at 4-5 star level — from 1,000,000 dong and above.

Prices heavily depend on the season (high season — from January to August), hotel location, and comfort level. The most budget options (hostels, guesthouses) are usually located in old areas away from the beach. Hotels on the first or second line by the sea in the popular My Khe area will be more expensive.

In our experience, hotels in Da Nang are known for good cleanliness even in the budget segment. However, it's worth noting that staff in many places speak little or no English (the resort is popular with local and Chinese tourists), so be prepared to communicate with gestures or through a translator.

Important tip: It's better to book hotels in Da Nang, especially during high season, in advance online. Searching for accommodation on the spot is not the best idea, as hotels are scattered over a large area of the city, and there is no compact tourist quarter where you can quickly check many options.
