What is My Son in Vietnam, why is it famous?

My Son (My Son Sanctuary) is a grand complex of ancient Hindu temples built by the Cham people from the 4th to the 13th century AD. Located among mountains and jungles in central Vietnam, it was the religious and political center of the Champa Kingdom. The complex is dedicated to the god Shiva.
