To make your visit to My Son comfortable and enriching, follow this simple algorithm:

  1. Buy a ticket at the entrance ticket office (150,000 dong) or online in advance.
  2. Visit the museum right after entering. This will help you understand the historical value of what you will see next. Admission to the museum is free.
  3. From the museum, go to the electric car stop, which will take you for free to the start of the route through the ruins (2-3 minutes ride).
  4. From the final electric car stop, walk to the cultural center pavilion. Check the schedule and try to attend the traditional Cham show (usually at 9:30, 10:30, 14:30, except Monday).
  5. After the show, begin your self-guided walk through the ruins. Use the map on the back of the ticket. The temples are divided into groups (A, B, C, D, etc.). Not all groups may be open, but the most impressive ones are definitely accessible. Do not climb on the ruins and follow the rules.
  6. After seeing everything, return to the electric car stop and go back to the museum, and from thereβ€”to the exit.

What you must see in My Son: - Temple groups, especially C and A: the best-preserved and restored complexes. - Museum: artifacts, documents, and photos of excavations. - Cham show: a 15-20 minute performance with national dances and music. - Internal exhibitions in some temples, where ancient sculptures are displayed.
