Is it worth going to the wild beaches of Phu Quoc?

The wild beaches of Phu Quoc outside resort areas are often very dirty and not recommended for visiting. We personally traveled all corners of the island in search of secluded paradise beaches and came to a disappointing conclusion - there is nothing better than the well-known Long Beach on Phu Quoc.

Wild beaches, especially during bad weather (and not only), present a sad sight due to the huge amount of trash. It's not just unpleasant to swim there - it's even unpleasant to be there. Dam Beach, which you see in the photo, is a typical example of what awaits lovers of "secluded relaxation" away from tourist centers.

If you want comfortable beach relaxation, it's better to choose the equipped beaches of the western coast, where there is all the necessary infrastructure and cleanliness is maintained.

Another plus of civilized beaches is that almost all of them are publicly accessible and free. There are very few hotels here that completely block access to the sea.
