Phu Quoc or Mui Ne: what to choose for surfing and kitesurfing?

For surfing and kitesurfing, it's better to choose Mui Ne, which is considered the mecca of water sports in Asia. Consistent waves and wind create ideal conditions for riding, and along the coast, there are numerous schools and equipment rentals. The beaches here are wide and sandy, which is convenient for training.

Phu Quoc, on the other hand, offers a calm sea with minimal waves, which is more suitable for diving or simple swimming. Although the island also has opportunities for water activities, they don't compare to the conditions in Mui Ne.
