Traveling by train from Ho Chi Minh City to Mui Ne is not the most convenient option, and we do not recommend it unless you want a unique experience. The ticket price starts from 161,000 dong (about 6 US dollars), but you need to add the costs of taxis or buses from the train stations to the resort area.

The train journey takes 3-4 hours, but considering the travel to the stations and waiting for the train, the total time can increase to 5-6 hours. Additionally, the train schedule is infrequent, and the stations in Phan Thiet are inconveniently located. For example, Binh Thuan station is 30 km from Mui Ne, and you also need to get to Phan Thiet station by local transport.

If you still decide to travel by train, note that tickets can be purchased on the official website of Vietnam Railways (dsvn.vn), but payment with Russian cards is not accepted there. It is better to buy tickets at station ticket offices or through travel agencies.

Compared to buses, the train is more expensive and less flexible, so this option is only suitable for those who specifically want to try traveling on Vietnamese trains.
