The Ke Ga Lighthouse is the tallest lighthouse in Vietnam, built from French granite. It is located on a small island 30 kilometers from Mui Ne, and can only be reached by boat. From the shore, there is a beautiful view of the lighthouse, but if desired, you can swim to the island and even climb to the top.
The cost of visiting includes several items: a round-trip boat will cost 200,000β300,000 dong (bargain!), entrance to the lighthouse territory is 10,000 dong, and climbing the lighthouse itself is another 200,000 dong. It is best to agree on the price in advance or purchase an excursion at the travel agency located on the shore opposite the lighthouse.
You can get to Ke Ga from Mui Ne by rented transport, taxi, or bus number 6. Note that during low tide, you can walk to the island on foot, but it is important to keep track of time so as not to be cut off by water. Check the tide forecast in advance if you plan this option.
