What are the commissions for Union Pay cards in Vietnam?

Commissions depend on your bank's tariff and the card's currency. For example, at RSHB under the 'Own Card Plus' tariff, no commission is charged for withdrawals at other banks' ATMs if expenses in the previous month exceeded 30,000 rubles. In other cases, for yuan cards, the commission is 3% (minimum 17 yuan), for ruble cards — 1% (minimum 199 rubles). When making purchases, ruble cards lose 4-6% due to double conversion (dong → yuan → rubles), and yuan cards — 2-4%. Check the tariffs directly with your bank, as conditions may change without notice. Union Pay cards are convenient for payments, but for cash withdrawals, it's better to use them only in emergencies due to high commissions.
