How much do food and drinks cost in Sri Lanka?

Prices for food and drinks in stores in Sri Lanka are comparable to Russian ones: 1.5L water costs 130 rupees, and local Coca-Cola β 400 rupees. However, meals in inexpensive local cafes are much cheaper, starting from 400 rupees (105 rubles) per dish, and in tourist establishments β from 1000 rupees (263 rubles). Fruits, such as bananas, are available from 80 rupees (21.01 rubles) per kg, but many exotic fruits are expensive due to limited local production. Exchange rates in rubles are indicated at the time of writing this answer and may change!!!
