Prices in Sri Lanka are conditionally 'regulated', especially for water, and practically throughout the country, the price is uniform in any stores. The minimum standard price for a 1.5-liter bottle is 130 rupees (approximately 0.43 US dollars), a large 5-liter bottle costs 350 rupees (approximately 1.2 US dollars). You can also find water on tap for 3-5 rupees per liter, but tap water is very rare here.
