Is there bicycle rental in Bali and how much does it cost?

Bicycle rental in Bali is not very common, as the conditions for riding them here are not very good, one could even say dangerous. Nevertheless, we have encountered bicycle rentals in at least three resorts: Sanur, Nusa Dua, and Ubud. Renting a simple bicycle with a lock costs 20,000 rupiah/hour (which is approximately 1.25 US dollars), or 50,000 for the whole day (which is a little over 3 dollars).
