How to tell if a ticket is charter or scheduled before paying on Aviasales, Trip.com, or Yandex Travel?

There is one foolproof practical method — look at the ticket delivery terms right before the payment button. When you have already entered your passport details and are at the final step, the system shows when the ticket will be sent:

• If it says "We will send the ticket by email immediately after payment (or within 10–15 minutes)" — this is a clean scheduled ticket. The intermediary retrieves the ticket from the official system right away, and you can safely book it.
• If it says "The itinerary receipt will be sent on the eve of departure (or 24 hours before departure)" — close the page. This is a hidden block charter from a tour operator: the agency does not have a real ticket yet; they are just collecting passenger lists to issue them in bulk before departure. Such a ticket for departure from Thailand is dangerous for your wallet.

Why is it important not to make a mistake? Because charter tickets are almost always non-refundable — if you bought the wrong one, the money will simply be lost. By law, sellers are required to show the flight type, but in practice the label may flash by unnoticed at one of the steps or not appear at all due to a technical error on the site. It is more convenient to compare and book tickets on trusted platforms that we use ourselves: Aviasales, Trip.com, and Yandex Travel.
