Where in Thailand is the cheapest place to buy fruit?

The lowest fruit prices are on farmer pickup trucks driving along the roads. Remember this life hack: look for such pickups along main roads – fruit prices there are 2 times lower than market prices. It is also very cheap at fruit markets on highways outside the city and at large local markets (not tourist ones). The most expensive option is supermarkets and tourist stalls.
Minimum fruit prices in season at city markets (in baht per kg):
- Mango – 50–60 baht. Peak season – April–May.
- Mangosteen – 50 baht. Peak season – May–September.
- Rambutan – 40–50 baht.
- Longkong – 50 baht.
- Dragon fruit (Pitaya) – about 60 baht.
- Durian – 120–150 baht in season (June–August). An average fruit (2 kg) – 240–300 baht.
- Lychee – 70–80 baht in season (April–June), out of season – up to 150 baht.
