Where is it better to vacation with children — in Thailand or Vietnam?

For children under 6–7 years old, we definitely recommend Thailand — especially Phuket or Pattaya. If the children are older, love adventures and are not afraid of new tastes, then Vietnam is also a great fit, especially Phu Quoc with its amusement parks.

Here is the difference:

• Thailand — the undisputed leader in children's infrastructure. Almost all hotels in Phuket and Pattaya offer mini-clubs, children's pools and animation. There are many amusement parks (Cartoon Network, Dream World, Safari World), and there are water parks. Beaches with a gentle entry and clean water. Russian-speaking nannies and doctors are not uncommon. Food — you can find familiar porridges, soups and children's menus even in inexpensive cafes.
• Vietnam — there are also interesting places for children (VinWonders, the dinosaur park in Nha Trang, water parks), but there are fewer of them, and they are more often located far from hotels. Hotels with animation are found mainly in Phu Quoc and Da Nang. In Nha Trang and Mui Ne, the infrastructure is more modest. There are fewer adapted children's menus, but you can arrange to have simple dishes prepared.
