Yes, renting a motorbike on Koh Larn is very easy. Rental shops are right near the piers – for example, at Tawaen and Na Baan piers – as well as on the popular Tawaen and Samae beaches. If you've come for just one day, the most convenient option is to take a bike right at the pier where you docked; there are always dozens of available offers there.
The price per day is 300–400 baht at rental shops near the pier and on the beaches. This price usually already includes a full tank of fuel. If you plan to stay on the island for a few days, look for a rental in Na Baan village or at hotels – it's cheaper there, from 250 baht per day. However, in that case you'll have to buy petrol yourself.
There are petrol stations on Koh Larn (one is right in the Na Baan area), and fuel here is about 20% more expensive than on the mainland. But if you fill up for 100 baht, that's easily enough for a day or two of leisurely rides around the island. Also keep in mind: almost no one checks your license or helmet on Koh Larn; many people ride without them. We still recommend wearing a helmet – the island's roads are narrow, with steep turns and elevation changes, and it's better to be safe than sorry.
Our advice: if you want to visit all the beaches and viewpoints in one day, feel free to rent a motorbike at the pier and don't overpay for songthaews later. Parking on Koh Larn is free everywhere. If you don't know how to ride or are afraid of mountain descents, there are songthaews and motorbike taxis on the island with fixed prices from 30–50 baht per trip.
Street rentals are easiest to find in Na Baan village – that's where the island's main infrastructure is concentrated: shops, cafes, and inexpensive hotels. If you want, you can look at the location of Na Baan Pier on the map to get your bearings in advance.
