On Koh Larn, beer costs slightly more than in Pattaya, but the difference is noticeable depending on where you buy it. On average, prices on the island are higher than on the "mainland" by about 10–30% — this applies to both food and drinks. If we're talking specifically about beer, the benchmarks are as follows:

In 7-Eleven stores, a large bottle of local beer (Chang, Leo, etc.) will cost about 65 baht. This is the most advantageous option — in Pattaya, the same bottle costs around 48 baht. There are several 7-Elevens on the island: one right at Tawaen Pier, the others in the fishing village of Na Baan.

In beach shops and cafes on Tawaen, Samae, Tien, and other beaches, prices start from 100 baht for a large bottle. At the same time, in a cafe on the sand, you're paying not only for the drink but also for the sun lounger, the sea view, and the atmosphere.

In bars and evening venues — for example, on the Tawaen promenade or in stylish bars on the outskirts of Na Baan village (My Friends, One More, 420Larn) — beer and alcohol cost from 120 baht per bottle or glass of draft.

Tip: if you want to save money, buy beer and snacks at 7-Eleven and have a picnic right on the beach. That way you'll pay 65 baht per bottle instead of 100–120 baht in a cafe. However, not all beaches allow outside food — on the popular Tawaen and Samae, they usually don't make a fuss if you're not occupying a sun lounger with food without ordering.

If you've come to Koh Larn for a day from Pattaya, you can bring chilled beer with you — it's cheaper in Pattaya, and on the island you can buy more as needed. For those staying overnight, the best strategy is to stock up at the 7-Eleven in the village; there's a large selection and reasonable prices.

We've tried to provide current prices for 2026, but keep in mind that during peak season and holidays, prices may rise slightly.
