Do I need to fill out any documents or forms upon arrival at Sharm el-Sheikh airport?

Yes, upon arrival at Sharm el-Sheikh airport, all tourists without exception need to fill out a simple migration card. It has nothing to do with a visa and is required for passport control. Filling it out takes just a couple of minutes: you enter your passport details, flight, where you flew from, and the name of the hotel. There are sample forms at the airport, including in Russian. But it's better to bring your own pen – there are usually none at the counters.
Important! At Sharm el-Sheikh airport, tourists are often scammed for money. Allegedly, tour operator representatives offer to fill out a migration card for $2 or sell a visa for $32 instead of the official $30. In fact, migration card forms are free, and a visa on arrival costs exactly $30 or 30 euros. If there are no forms freely available (sometimes they are deliberately collected), just go to the passport control window and ask for a card – they are obliged to give you one.
If you are flying to Sharm el-Sheikh on a tour and plan to stay only on the Sinai coast for up to 15 days, you can skip buying a visa altogether – at passport control, they will stamp a free Sinai stamp. Then you don't need to fill out any additional documents besides the migration card and your passport. But keep in mind: with this stamp, you cannot leave the Sinai Peninsula, for example, on an excursion to Cairo or Luxor.
If you plan to leave Sinai or stay longer than 15 days, you need to buy a visa sticker "on arrival" before passport control. This is done at bank windows or special counters for $30. You don't need to fill out any forms or applications – just hand over your passport and money, and you'll receive the sticker. Then go to the border officer with your passport, visa, filled migration card, and boarding pass. He must stamp your arrival – make sure he does.
By the way, before departing from Sharm el-Sheikh, you will also need to fill out a departure card. It's just as simple, but again, it's better to have your own pen.
