In Jomtien you can eat on any budget – from street stalls for 60 baht per dish to luxurious restaurants with a sea view. A portion of pad thai or rice with chicken at a stall costs 50–70 baht, soup and noodles – from 40 baht, and for 100–150 baht you can get a whole grilled fish. Look for places with a queue of locals – they are always delicious.

From budget establishments we recommend:

  • Krua Jomtien (Soi 7) – a family restaurant, opens towards evening, prices pleasantly surprise.
  • Kruatabird – a hidden gem with 5 stars on Google Maps, authentic Thai cuisine.
  • Rom Pho Cafe – a new coffee place, great for breakfast.
  • Broyke Cafe – a stylish cafe right on the beach, open from 10:00 to 18:30, closed on Thursdays.

For dinner with a view choose Anya Pattaya, Glass House BOHO, Mermaid Jomtien Restaurant. On Pratumnak Hill there is the famous restaurant “3 Mermaids” – tables in the “bird
