Yes, it is worth it if you have never been to similar Buddhist temples with 'hellish' gardens. This is a very unusual and memorable place: giant statues of sinners being boiled in cauldrons, torn apart, having molten metal poured down their throats – all of this looks impressive and even eerie. However, if you have already seen similar sculpture parks in Thailand, Vietnam, or Sri Lanka, then you most likely won't get new emotions – scenes of punishment in Buddhist iconography are quite typical.

Another nuance – the temple is located in Bang Saen, about 40 km from Pattaya, and the journey will take about an hour. Going there specifically just for it is probably not worth it. It's better to combine the visit with other attractions in that direction, for example, with the Chinese temple Na Ja and Khao Kheow Zoo. That way you'll spend the day usefully and not waste it just on the road.

It usually takes 10–15 minutes to see 'Hell', but if you want, you can linger in the 'heavenly' zone – sit by the pond, feed the fish and turtles. Admission is free, so if you happen to be nearby, you definitely won't regret it.
