Answer (changed )

According to current Egyptian customs regulations, one person over 20 years old can bring up to 2 liters of alcoholic beverages without paying duty. This limit includes any alcohol, including that purchased in duty-free shops. That is, if you bring 2 liters from home and buy another 1 liter at duty-free, it will already be a violation. In practice, inspection is not always thorough, but it is not worth the risk — fines for violation can be serious.
