What is eSIM for Egypt and where to buy it online?

eSIM is an electronic SIM card that does not need to be inserted into the phone. It is activated remotely, which is very convenient: you can buy and set it up even before departure and be connected immediately upon arrival. For Egypt, eSIM can be purchased on international websites that accept Russian cards. We recommend using Trip.com — it accepts Russian cards and SBP, and has favorable rates. There are also reliable services Yesim and Airalo. An important drawback: many international eSIMs provide only internet, they do not have a number for calls.
