It is best to buy a SIM card right at the airport at the operator's counter in the arrivals hall. This is the most convenient option, as many hotels are far from cities and finding a mobile store at the resort can be problematic. Prices at the airport and in city stores (for example, in Sharm el-Sheikh or Hurghada) are the same. You will only need your passport to get one. We recommend inserting the SIM card into your phone immediately and asking the seller to activate the package and check that it works.
