The Milk Waterfall is located on the shore of Lake Ritsa, 60 kilometers from Gagra, on the territory of the Ritsa National Park. It is famous for its unusual white water color, which resembles milk. This effect occurs because the water, passing through many stone ledges, bubbles strongly and becomes saturated with air. It is believed that bathing in this waterfall helps preserve youth, although the water there is very cold. Usually, the waterfall is visited together with Stalin's dacha, which is located nearby. You can get there by your own car or with an excursion to Lake Ritsa (the cost of an excursion from Gagra is from 1300 rubles). To enter the national park, you need to pay an environmental fee: 700 rubles for adults, 200 rubles for children 8-12 years old. More information is in the article About the Milk Waterfall.
