What you must definitely take with you on a trip so as not to forget anything?

The most reliable way not to forget anything is to use a packing checklist that we have developed over years of travel. First of all, always keep with you documents: internal and international passports (and their copies), insurance policy, plane tickets and hotel vouchers. Be sure to make electronic copies of all documents and send them to your email — this will save you if you lose the originals.
Don't forget about money: cash in local currency and dollars/euros, as well as plastic cards. For convenience, write down PIN codes and bank phone numbers for card blocking in a separate notebook, but keep it separate from the cards themselves. From electronics, the minimum set is a smartphone, power bank, headphones, chargers and a plug adapter if you are going abroad. Don't forget a flashlight (preferably a headlamp) and a mosquito repellent device.
As for clothing, take only the essentials: a couple of T-shirts, shorts, light pants, a swimsuit and comfortable shoes (sneakers and flip-flops). Don't drag a pile of things with you — you will still buy something on the spot. In the first aid kit, put a standard set: band-aid, bandage, painkiller, remedies for stomach upset and allergies. Wet wipes, antiseptic, sunscreen and mosquito repellent will also come in handy.
For long trips and road trips, the list expands: add a tent, sleeping bag, camping mat, stove with gas canister, set of dishes, and for the car — a pump, jack, tool set and a shovel. The main advice: when packing, think about whether you really need each item, otherwise you risk carrying extra kilograms.
