How is Walking Street different during the day and at night?

The difference is colossal. During the day, Walking Street is an ordinary, unremarkable street with one-way traffic, small shops, and cafes. Cars drive along it calmly, and it looks quite sleepy. At night, from about 6:00 PM, everything changes beyond recognition. The street is closed to traffic, thousands of neon lights turn on, music blares from everywhere, and the sidewalks and roadway fill with people. This is a real carnival of debauchery and fun. We have walked here many times at different times β the contrast is so strong that it seems like two different places.
