Kuala Lumpur does not have a single center, but there are several key areas that fulfill its functions. If we talk about the business and tourist center, it is the KLCC (Kuala Lumpur City Centre) area. Here are the famous Petronas Twin Towers, KLCC Park with a fountain, and the upscale shopping center Suria KLCC. This is the most modern and futuristic part of the city.

However, the historical and cultural center is considered to be the Merdeka Square area. Here are the old colonial-era buildings, such as the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, the National Mosque, and many museums. Nearby is the colorful Chinatown.

The main tourist and shopping center is the Bukit Bintang area. It is home to a huge number of shopping malls, restaurants, bars, and hotels. This is the busiest place in the city, especially in the evening.

For easy navigation, all these areas are within walking distance of each other or 1-2 stops by metro.
