Buses to Kuala Lumpur Airport (KLIA/KLIA2) depart from several key stations in the city. The main departure points:

  1. KL Sentral Station (on map) — this is the most reliable and recommended option. The ticket counters and platform are on the Ground Floor of the main transport hub. There are few signs inside the building, so feel free to ask staff or locals for directions. Ticket counters only sell tickets for the next departure.
  2. Pudu Sentral Station (formerly Pudu Raya) (on map) — located near Chinatown. Important: the stationary ticket counters here are no longer operational. To depart from here, you need to either buy a ticket online in advance or try to pay cash to the driver upon boarding (risky, you may be left without a seat).
  3. TBS Bus Terminal (Terminal Bersepadu Selatan) — a large transport hub in the southern part of the city. Convenient if you are already there or have arrived from another city in Malaysia. Nearby is Bandar Tasik Selatan metro station.

Our advice: For simplicity and guarantee, depart from KL Sentral. It is a central hub easily reachable from any area by metro or taxi.
