With a ticket, tourists go up to two levels: the Skybridge on the 42nd floor (height 170 m) and the enclosed observation deck on the 86th floor (height 360 m). Access to the very top, the 88th floor, is closed.
Here's what awaits you at each level:
- Skybridge (42nd floor):
- This is a two-story bridge connecting the two towers. Its main function is fire safety, but for tourists it is the first vantage point.
- From here, a panoramic view of the city opens through thick protective glass. You will see the business center, the KLCC park at the foot, and the KL Tower in the distance.
- The group spends about 15 minutes on the bridge; you cannot stay longer.
- Observation deck (86th floor):
- The main observation area is located inside the tower. The view is also through panoramic windows, but the 360-degree view is much wider.
- From here, the city is like on the palm of your hand: you can see remote areas, the airport, and mountains. The view of the neighboring twin tower is especially impressive β it seems you can reach out and touch it.
- The group also spends about 15 minutes here.
Important to know before visiting:
- Visits are strictly in a group with a guide. You cannot wander around the floors on your own.
- The entire tour (from entrance to exit) takes about 45 minutes.
- After the observation deck, the group descends to the floor with a souvenir shop and cafe, where you can buy a postcard and send it from there.
- You cannot bring large backpacks, food, water, or tripods. Only small bags and cameras are allowed.
