What is Sheraton Street in Hurghada and what can you buy there?

Sheraton Street is the main tourist artery and shopping center in Hurghada. Although the street itself is not pedestrian, wide sidewalks stretch along it, completely lined with shops, stalls, cafes, and restaurants.
Here you can buy absolutely everything a tourist is looking for:
- Souvenirs: magnets, figurines, papyrus, perfume oils.
- Clothing, shoes, and bags.
- Sweets and teas (there are even large specialized sweet shops).
- Medicines in pharmacies.
- Electronics and SIM cards in communication stores.
Be prepared for very pushy service. Sellers on Sheraton actively lure tourists into their shops and offer goods right on the street. Prices are initially inflated several times, so bargaining here is absolutely necessary and should be tough.
If noise and bustle are not for you, for more relaxed shopping, it's better to choose the pedestrian street Youssef Afifi (Village Road) or shops with fixed prices.
For more details about this famous street and its features, we have covered it in a separate article: Sheraton Street in Hurghada.
