For your first visit to Kuala Lumpur, it's best to choose the Bukit Bintang or KLCC areas. They are perfect for beginners because everything is at hand, safe, and comfortable.

Bukit Bintang is the center of shopping and nightlife. Here you'll find the largest shopping malls (Pavilion, Lot 10), the famous food street Jalan Alor, many restaurants and bars. The area is clean, lively, with a good selection of hotels for any budget. You can walk to the Petronas Towers in 15-20 minutes.

KLCC is the futuristic area right at the foot of the Petronas Towers. Here, the atmosphere of a modern metropolis prevails: clean streets, KLCC Park, aquarium, luxury boutiques. This is an excellent choice if you want to live with a view of the city's main symbol and are willing to pay for comfort. However, note that in some parts of KLCC, there may be few street cafes and local life.

Tip: If you want to save money but still be in the center of the action, consider Little India near Masjid India mosque. This is a colorful but calm and clean area with good transport accessibility (near Masjid Jamek metro station) and lower prices.
