The Laman Padi Rice Museum is located on the west coast of Langkawi, in close proximity to the main tourist area.
Exact location: the northern part of Pantai Cenang beach, closer to Langkawi Airport. If you look at the map, the complex is located between Cenang Beach and the airport runway.
Nearest landmarks:
- Pantai Cenang Beach: a 5-7 minute walk from the shore.
- Langkawi International Airport: approximately 1.5 km to the north.
- Pantai Tengah hotel area: a 20-30 minute walk to the south.
This location is unique because it is the only attraction on the entire island that can be easily reached on foot from the most popular resort areas (Cenang and Tengah). You won't need a taxi or rented transport, which is very convenient and economical.
If you want to visit other interesting places on the island, we recommend reading our general guide: Attractions of Langkawi. And all the details about the rice museum itself can be found here: Rice fields and rice museum (Laman Padi) on Langkawi
